LONG JUMPER & GREY TROUSERS

Leather Jacket - Topshop, Jumper - Primark, Trousers - Primark, Flats - Primark

Ugh I love this jumper. When I bought it I'd actually gone into find the dark red version (still yet to find it.. psssht), and ended up with this one. It doesn't look like it's from Primark does it?! It's a really soft knit and the fit is like stuff I've seen in Zara.. Which I totally can't afford the majority of the time.

I'm wearing a lot of Primark today, with the trousers also from there. I bought them when they were full price but you can grab them for like a fiver now.. barrrgain. They look kind of ugly on the hanger. They're just plain, grey work trousers, but they're in this nice brushed material that I can't even explain. You'll know what I mean if you've seen them ha. I dunno, they're just slouchy and comfy.. my favourite kind of thing.

THE NEW CHRISTMAS JUMPER

Hat - H&M, Jumper - c/o New Look, Jeans - Missguided, Boots - Forever 21

EEK. This is indeed the first of any festive posts (I'm not sure what I'll be blogging Christmas wise, but I'm sure at some point I'll get all carried away and go all over the top..). Now, it's not that 'in your face' Christmas vibe, it's more quietly jolly.. If a jumper can be such a thing. I do love a good OTT Christmas jumper, but I also like the kind that you can wear right through December without looking like Christmas threw up on you. This New Look knit is the sort of thing I'm talking about. Last year I went all out festive so this new Christmassy addition I'd an update for me.

In one sentence I'm talking about not being over the top, in another I'm talking about wearing a pom-pom ears hat. I couldn't help it, how cute is it?! It's probably one of those things I should have had about 10 years ago (I reckon a 13 year old would pull this off a lot better than a 23 year old..) but I just thought it was fun. I do feel like I dress a lot more grown up these days, but it's nice to have something a little silly in your wardrobe. Plus it's dead cosy. Justified.

CULOTTES & OVERSIZED JUMPER

Hat - H&M, Jumper - H&M, Scarf - H&M, Coat - H&M (oh Jesus Christ this actually isn't sponsored by H&M), Culottes - Primark, Boots - Forever 21

I'm looking back on this thinking I look like Mary Poppins. It's a combo of the hat, the culottes & the coat I think. Ha. Ah well, I still like it.. I just need a big Mary Poppins esq. bag to finish it all off.

I mainly wanted to wear anything with culottes today. I bought this pair from Primark the other week, despite knowing it probably isn't culottes season. Can you wear culottes without tights? I'm not sure it'd be a great look for me.. but I don't know if I'm going to be flashing ankles much longer - it's definitely getting nippy up North. To get a bit of wear out of them before it's way too chilly I'll just be wearing them like this.. with plenty of layers. I'm figuring if I look super wrapped up everywhere else people won't notice that my ankles are in fact blue..

SLOUCHY SHIRT

All Clothing - c/o Daisy Street

My second outfit from the Daisy Street AW 14 essentials. Ohhh I feel so flouncy, like some arty painter who's terribly flamboyant. Clearly, that's not the case.. but this oversized, light outfit definitely makes me feel that way.

I'm wearing the shirt I wore in the last post, this time with these loose snakeskin print trousers. They're the perfect kind for dressing up and down.. plus they're also super comfortable for lazy days. I didn't take pictures with the coat from my previous post, but I would definitely be throwing that on to finish off  with the cosy factor.

TEDDY BEAR COAT

All Clothing - c/o Daisy Street

So, the lovely guys at Daisy Street asked me if I was up for picking a few A/W favourites and styling them up I of course got a bit excited. Naturally, I stayed pretty monochrome.. but I know that I have plenty of existing items in my wardrobe that I can blend these essentials in with.

Now, I guess this outfit is a bit of a mis-match..  but I love that kind of thing. I'm a bit dolled up with the shirt and skirt, then dressed down with the oversized coat (the fluffiest thing ever..) and big chunky boots. Oh the boots. I am indeed in love. They take me back to my much loved chunky shoe era, something I thought I'd grown out of. Deep down I want to spend my life clomping about in big as boots Julia Stiles 10 Things I Hate About You style.

INSTAGRAM OUTFIT #4

Beret - Boohoo, Turtle Neck - H&M, Coat - H&M, Culottes - H&M (there's a pattern emerging..), Boots - Forever 21, Bag - c/o Paul's Boutique

Just a quick one today, with a few shots my ma took whilst out on a wander. This was a couple of weeks ago, hence flashing the ankles. I'd say now it's definitely getting too cold for any kind of ankle cleavage.. I'm now head to toe wrapped up. It's  unlikely that any flesh below my neck will  now be seen before April.

I'm kind of sad about that because I've only just really got into wearing culottes. On a short gal like myself it's a bit of an awkward length, but I've finally got my head around it, as long as there's an inch or so heel involved.

MINT COAT & FLUFFY BOBBLE HAT

Bobble Hat - c/o Amelia Jane London, Jumper - Boohoo, Coat - c/o Bank Fashion, Jeans - Vintage Levi's, Boots - Forever 21, Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington

I'm wearing two things I'm neway obsessed with today. One's the fluffy bobble hat, and the other is the big thick coat. They're two winter essentials that I just know I'll wear to death over the coming months.

The coat is carrying on that pastel trend we had last year I guess.. Updating it with a bit of a Kimye vibe thanks to that big collar and it's sturdy material. I love it, plus it goes perfecut with my typically monochrome outfits.

I'll start with a quick mention about the hat. It's from Amelia Jane London, who do incredibly cute fluffy winter accessories. I naturally went for black, but there's a part of me that really wants a baby pink one. They also do hats to go over riding helmets that are lovely enough for me to suddenly want to get on a pony.

SHEER JACKET

Jacket - c/o Koko Couture, Choker - Topshop, Bug Necklace - c/o Elkin, Crop Top - Primark, Jeans - Primark, Boots - c/o Deichmann, Bag - c/o Paul's Boutique

I've been meaning to show you this jacket for a while. It's kind of MJ 80s outfit meets 2014.. but I'm completely into that. It's shere,  swishy and white, one of my favourites after black. Plus it's that kind of jacket that constitutes as a top. It's not too thic to be wearing indoors and that sheer material just makes it feel like a fancy shirt.

Just about everything else I'm wearing is stuff you'll have probably seen before. I buy too many clothes yet I'm forever wearing the same few things.. logic. The only newbie is the bag. Can you believe it's from Paul's Boutique?! They've got some really lovely styles in for A/W. I'm loving this one's boxy shape.. Perfect for fitting in my iPad and all the other Mary Poppin esq. essentials I lug around with me.

NUDE & GREY

Jumper - c/o Warehouse, Coat - New Look, Dress (worn as skirt) - c/o Dark Pink, Boots - c/o Deichmann

Firstly, I'm just going to address the fact that although it doesn't look too bad here, it was actually a really windy day.. which lead to that MySpace fringe thing I've got going on. It's officially that time of year where there is no point doing anything with your hair.

Outfit wise I'm really into this grey/nude combo right now. I'm not really a nude person.. mainly because I find it's difficult to wear when you've got blonde hair. To me it kind of clashes, y'know? I think me and nude are cool when there's some grey thrown in though. It feels autumnal and quite simple without  being too monotone. The grey stuff is an old New Look coat and that Warehouse jumper I wore in a previous post.. The nude is actually a pretty 'dressy up' dress from Dark Pink that looks just as good with boots and something oversized. I'm alway casual at heart!

WRAPPED UP

Faux Fur Scarf - c/o Charlotte Simone, Turtle Neck - H&M, Jeans - Prmark & DIY, Boots - Boohoo

Today I am Red Riding Hood. Kind of wish I'd had this for Halloween so I could have gone as some gothy, blood doused version! I do love getting wrapped up in a good scarf. In fact, I love the while layering thing about A/W. I am saying this before the weather has turned ridonkulously cold though.. when it get to temperatures where losing a toe to frostbite is an actually option then I may well have changed my mind.

Today's pretty simple, so I'm not going to go in too much. I'm just wearing all black really.. I did feel a tiny bit like a ninja. It's just an easy option. When in doubt, wear all black.

PRINTED TEE & KITTY EARS

Hat - River Island, Top - c/o Olive and Frank, Leather Jacket - Topshop, Jeans - Primark, Slip Ons - Topshop

Sometimes in life there are days when it's just right to wear a cutesy tee and jeans. Today was one of those days. Really casual, the kind of 'I cba' outfit I do admitedly love.

Here I've just gone for popping this Olive & Frank top with the Primark skinny jeans I got a bit scissor happy with. I've worn these skinnies loads to say they were just from the really basic denim range. The only thing is I'm now starring to realise that despite there only being small rips on the knees they aren't the best option for extra chilly days. How the heck can you lose so much heat from your freaking knees?!

BELL BOTTOMS

Hat - H&M, Choker - c/o PYLO, Elephant Necklace - Accessorize, Jumper - H&M, Bell Bottoms - c/o PYLO

I'm gradually becoming more and more obsessed with flares. I'm so glad they've kind of come back on trend.. I don't always feel like skinny fit bottoms do much for me unless I'm wearing super high heels (short leg problems).  The flare on this pair is pretty big.. I'm struggling to think of any way to describe it other than really flared flares. Not very poetic, but you get my drift. I do love them though, I whack on a pair of high heel boots and I feel like my invisible feet make me look like I'm swishing across the floor.

The jumper I'm wearing is a new one I got from H&M at the weekend. I decided that as I didn't own a cream jumper I definitely needed one. I had no intention of wearing it with these flares as I'm always think cream and white is an awkward mis-match. I quite like it here though.. I think it's the grey floral pattern that makes it okay.

WHITE FAUX FUR

Faux Fur Jacket - c/o Stone Fox, Bralet - c/o Dark Pink, Trousers - H&M, Bracelets - c/o Swarovski, Heels - c/o Dorothy Perkins
Ooh I was feeling pretty fancy here. There's something about faux fur that does that to you don't you think? I guess there's just something glamorous about a fluffy coat like this. I'm sashaying around like some fancy pants super star in NY when I'm actually a tea drinking, stay in for X Factor and pizza sort of girl. Ow pook.

Anyway, I'm dressed up for some sort of festive shindig inspo. I've got a couple of wintery dos coming up so I thought I'd get my glam on.. I'm a girl who likes to plan. Other than the coat it's kind of simple.. just a cute little bralet and my much loved wide leg trousers. Oh and heels. Heels are a must.

GREY OVERSIZED JUMPER

Hat - H&M, Jumper - c/o Warehouse, Trousers - H&M, Boots - c/o Deichmann, Black Bracelet - c/o Swarovski

Jumper obsessed. This is one of those things that I could wear every day. It's just everything I like rolled into one. A big roll neck, slouchy and super comfy, plus it's grey.. My favourite colour right now. So far I've been wearing this knit religiously with skinny jeans and black trousers.. Quickly becoming my uniform.

The rest of my outfit is pretty much my usual sort of thing.. I'm wearing plenty of favourites I know you'll probably recognise (possibly my third winter with these pleather trousers?!). Excluding the bracelet. It's a newbie from Swarovski. Have you seen them in store? They come in all these gorgeous jewel colours.. I'm already lusting after a couple more for stacking purposes.
