crop top & mom jeans

Sunglasses - H&M, Crop Top - Topshop, Belt - Primark, Jeans - Miss Selfridge, Creepers - Underground, Wildfox Inspired Jumper - c/o SheInside

Right I gotta be quick because I start getting ready & transform myself into a zombie/vampie/dead girl asap! Maybe I'll post a few pictures if it's a success?!

Finally found myself a pair of mom jeans that don't look completely ridiculous! I've been going into Miss Selfridge nearly every week trying on the new stock they have in their little vintage section. It's called Blue Rinse.. I'm not sure if they do it everywhere but I love their stuff. Some of it is really good value. These jeans were £22ish with student discount.. I know you can get them on eBay but it's such a faff finding a decent pair. I think £22 for Levi's is pretty decent anyway! Also treated myself to the cute green top from Topshop, it was only £9 (milking the student discount while I can) so I thought it wouldn't completely break the bank. It's such a nice colour & makes a nice change from my usual black!

Hope you all have a fabbbbulous Halloween!!

a not so halloweeny OOTN

Choker – DIY, Dress – c/o Chi Chi Clothing, Flatforms – c/o Tribeca, Leather Jacket - Topshop

This isn’t actually what I’m wearing for Halloween. It is in fact a really pretty dress that I thought was perfect for the spooky season. I know not everyone is as into Halloween as I am, so I always think gothy attire looks cool if you aren’t big on getting dressed up. Let’s be honest, the zombie-naughty-school-girl look isn’t everyone’s thing (may or may not have been a fan of this in the past!!).

The dress itself is a newbie from Chi Chi clothing. Everybody loves a good party dress right?! It’s one of them sucky-in ones that hides a food baby.. or two. Purrrfect. I thought I’d wear it with my flatforms because I’m going through that stage where I just can’t be arsed with heels. At all. They just make my feet wanna die. Haha.

dungarees & stockings

Sunglasses - H&M, Fur Hood - Market, Top - Topshop, Dungarees - c/o Nordic Poetry, Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington, Stockings - Asda, Velvet Jacket - Charity Shop, Boots - Docs

It’s just a quick one today, I’m currently bogged down with uni work praying for someone to come save me & take me for a Starbucks. Not gonna happen is it.. wah! Third year is a biggie.

I finally have a pair of denim dungarees! I’ve got a few pairs, but they’re summery colours. These are perfect for the winter. They’re from Nordic Poetry, who do some really cool vintage bits &bobs. I have to admit that I have been being a complete bore and just wearing them with opaque tights. It’s October and I’m already sick of tights!

Still on the quest for an amazing Halloween outfit so if anyone has any links to blog posts or similar things then let me know! Currently my only idea is ‘something dead’. Really inventive Lydia.

side split maxi skirt & new watch

Hat - Market, Choker - DIY, Necklace - Market, Jumper - River Island, Bracelets - Gifts, Skirt - Topshop, Boots - Docs, Watch - c/o Daniel Wellington

For some silly reason I thought I could get away with just a bit of lippy and foundation. Evidently, blonde-ish eyelashes are not a good look! I love getting all dolled up and looking my best, but sometimes it is just such an effort. At least it’s now the season to let the beauty regime relax a little.. Bye bye fake tan disasters.

I’m wearing a few new bits here. The jumper you may have seen in my birthday outfits post and the skirt is something I picked up over the weekend. I usually can’t stand Topshop.  Generally, I think it’s overpriced. Sometimes though, they do come up with the goodies (that I can actually afford!). This skirt was only £20, which I think I can cope with. I’ve been looking for a gothy number just like it for months.. happy bunny.

The last newbie is my beauuudiful watch from DanielWellington. I’m sure you’ve all seen these doing the rounds on blogs but aren’t they so pretty?! I’ve been wearing it with these cute bracelets a friend fetched me from Hong Kong.. I love a little wrist combo like this!

I've seen so many cool eBay blog posts that I thought it was about time I showed you what's on my wish list! Frankie's latest one on her blog had me wanting to break into a bank & get me some pretend cheapo Unif Hellraisers.. They're so hot!

Think I'm definitely going to have to order a few of these turtle necks for the winter. The American Apparel ones are on my luxury lust list but what is with the price?! Ugh seriously, I'm a student! Same with the socks, I think a few quid for a pair is more than enough. I want to spend the next few months hibernating in thigh highs & cosy jumpers until the sun comes back out.

Oooh does anyone have any amazing ideas for Halloween costumes?! I could really do with some ideas.. I love getting all dressed up but this year I'm stuck. The skeleton leggings may just have to make it into my wardrobe, even if I don't wear them for Halloween.

crop top & disco pants

Sunglasses - H&M, Scarf - Brother's, Choker - DIY, Necklace - Martket, Crop Top - Primark, Jacket - Miss Selfridge, Disco Pants - American Apparel, Creepers - Underground, Watch - c/o Kahuna

How autumnal is the background?! My garden at home is currently way too pretty to not be exploited. Even if the orange has washed me out & makes me look like a pale Gail.

As I’m at home for a few days my wardrobe is quite limited. Hence wearing a crop top that is way too short.. even by my standards! I know the disco pants can be a bit of a love hate thing but they are the easiest outfit. They make any old top look cool. I’m thinking I need the American Apparel Easy Jeans now.. Why is AA’s stuff so blummin’ expensive?!

I’ve been meaning to show you this watch for a week or so now. I’m not really a watch sort of girl.. but as this is more of a bracelet I love it! It’s casual & looks really pretty stacked with my favourite silver bracelets. Kahuna have a load of different colours & styles so I’d definitely have a nosey at their site. Christmas is only round the corner after all!
