I hope nobody minds the occasional Instagram post?! I know I love them.. being the nosey natured person that I am! I always think it's nice to have a sneak peek into someone's life outside the blogging world. Not that mine is all that thrilling.. it mainly consists of food & cats ha.

It's now playtime with my new iPad. Way too excited. It's sat here looking at me.. but I've been mega dedicated & got this blog post finished first. Very proud of myself!

Skullduggery jumper & disco pants

Hat - H&M, Jumper - c/o Skullduggery Clothing, Disco Pants - American Apparel, Creepers - Underground

So after a very summery outfit, I’ve gone all wintery. I’m not very good at the transition period. I either want to be wrapped up in jumpers or in crop tops & shorts. There is no happy medium! I got this coat a few days ago. I found it in the vintage section in Miss Selfridge for £35. I think that’s pretty good to say that each one they sell is a little bit different & sort of had a hand-made touch! I know that everybody & their grandma’s have got these camo print jackets at the moment, but I can’t help but like it. I’ve worn it every day since I bought it.. it goes with everything!

The cutie-pie jumper from Skullduggery is another hand-made goodie I got this week. I love the leopard print cross! It’s so snuggly & is going to be great for chilly days. I did want to wear it with suspender shorts but I thought that might be a tad crazy what with the weather! Maybe another time ey? Definitely check out their site if you’re looking for cool, good quality stuff without the Topshop prices.

bye bye summer outfit

Hat - H&M, Necklace - c/o La Moda, Jacket - Charity Shop, Lace Top - Charity Shop, Belt - Primark, Shorts - DIY, Boots - Docs

I know this outfit isn’t at all appropriate for the current weather situation, but I wanted to get it up before it seems totally ridiculous! I’d probably wear this with some tights anyway. The shorts are a pair I made last summer. I had a crazy DIY shorts addiction, and ended up making way too many pairs! I think I’ll get putting some more on eBay once I’ve settled into uni work etc.

Speaking of eBay, I’ve finally managed to save up enough pennies from selling (with a little bit of help from the student loan!) to get an Ipad. Yay! I’m so excited to get one! I think it’ll be useful for blog & uni stuff.. That’s how I’m justifying it anyway! If anyone has any app recommendations then please point me in the right direction ha.

Big congrats to Lydia (cool name hehe) for winning my La Moda giveaway! Goodies are in the post :)

uni OOTN

Sunglasses - Borrowed, Dress - Primark, Belt - Primark, Boots - Primark (Very Primarky outfit!)

You’ve got to imagine this outfit without the sunglasses, and with a nice face of make-up & slightly bigger hair. These pictures were taken on the morning after the night before.. hence the sungigs. I don’t think any of you are ready to see all of my slightly hung over & make-up free face. It isn’t a good look I can assure you!

This dress is a fave of mine. It’s the white version of the lime green one that I wear to death. I wanted something that would keep my pins a tiny bit warmer for a night out. Although in the end I did end up hitching it up & wearing it as a mini dress.. it’s freshers after all!

I hope my new background isn’t too dull. Chipped paint is always a nice feature. Not. Ha. I'm sure any of you living in student houses can relate!

tie dye tights

Hat - H&M, Necklace - Vintage, Vest - New Look, Tights - Internacionale, Boots - Doc Martens

I’ve got to apologise for looking like a complete pouty grumpster in these pictures. It wasn’t intentional! For some reason I decided to put black eyeliner on my waterline, which always makes me look like a very angry goth. Deary me. I'm back at uni now, which means this background won't be present as often! Sob.

As it is now tight season, I thought I’d pop on a pair that I bought months ago and hadn't worn. I know the tie dye trend has been a little over done, but I think these are a nice idea for winter. I get so sick of wearing black opaque’s all the time! I wonder if you could do a DIY on a black pair using bleach? I think I’ll have to experiment with that one..

You've still got a little while to enter my La Moda giveaway so make sure you check that out! :)
